1. In this version, I had rebalanced the effect and optimization,
and separate two preset. (Cool / Warm version)
On most monitors, the Warm preset will look much more realistic.
But the choice is yours.
Each version comes with two presets.
1)Default with weak Reflection
2)for Wet Conditions.
After numerous tests, I realized that using the Reflection tweak is more effective and looks more realistic for RBR than setting forced Ambient Occulus for RBR. Of course, not all objects reflect like water or a mirror. Still, the reason why I set weak Reflection in the default preset is because all objects reflect light to some extent.
Anyway, I didn't just add the effect, tested it numerous times on as many stages as possible and tweaked it for not have a major issues.
2.MXAO absorbs your PC's CPU resources like a hippo compared to its effectiveness. So I turned it off in this version If you want test it, press the <\> Key to turn it on directly.
MXAO is needed high-end PC for prevent the frame drops.
**************METHOD**************
If you want to use Ambient Occulusion, Reflection,
and Headlight on the cockpit cam, please follow this method.
1)Unzip the file and move it to the RBR main directory.
2)Execute JSGME.exe.
3)Select <Clear windshield pack> <Reshade> and <Hide Driver's Hands, Arms and body> or <Hide Driver's Hands> then installing it.
Don't worry about losing your custom textures. Mod Enabler creates a backup copy and returns to original when the mod is disable.
4)Double-click the right mouse button on the in-game stage
and make sure to check <Show Car Exterior>
(Needed Pacenote Plugin - MY RTP or RSF is include it on default)
RESHADE MENU ON / OFF - <\>
PRESET CHANGE between default/wet - <Plus> (not a keypad)
PRESET TURN ON / OFF - <Minus> (not a keypad)
ROAD REFLECTION ON / OFF - <0 (zero)> (not a keypad)
FAKE HEADLIGHT ON / OFF - <SHIFT+A>
This causes frame drops on low-end PCs.
*Some stages are (only in RBR original format) incorrect AO or Reflection may be showing to the sky edge of the stage during Chase Cam or replay playback.
I don't really care about wrong graphic effects that only show up on some tracks. I prefer the overall color and 'gimmick' seen from the cockpit.
If you don't like this, turn off SSR and AO in the Reshade menu. Even with it off, I put a lot of effort into color reproduction and that should be enough.
If your screen is go to side, try to use this.

*Some vehicles use very low resolution Exterior cockpit textures - so method will make the cockpit very ugly. For some vehicles whose steering wheel is too bright on the Exterior, the Clear Windshield Pack includes modified textures. (Fortunately, the recently added vehicles are almost use high-resolution Exterior textures)
*Unfortunately, RBR is ignores a lots of graphical effects rendering on the cockpit cam (default light sources, co-driver modeling, etc). This may be the result of an optimization based on the performance of the PCs at the time - or a bug. (The PS2 version of RBR is a much more complete game overall than the PC version)
Therefore, only by using that method can properly use the effects provided by Reshade.
*I did my best to make the WET preset work for both Tarmac and Gravel,
but I put more emphasis on Tarmac. So I think the reflection is a little too much to use in Gravel, but it's impossible to catch two rabbits at once.
Please understand that I cannot provide it in any other way due to my lack of programming ability. I pray that the source code of RBR will be found someday.
